My thoughts on a Healthy Lifestyle

-

Hello, My name is Mike Johnson and I am an American now living in North / Eastern Europe in the Country of Latvia

I have lived the American Dream with my six figure income, my Mercedes convertable (2 of them) amy Vice President title and the 100 hour work weeks.

One day in February 1992 checking myself into the Hospital near Palo Alto California, it became clear to me that I need to make a life change.

I encourage you all to consider my comments here and make this sort of decision for yourself before you have the hospital experience.

One of the reasons that I am staying in Latvia is that for hundreds of years now, they have been living a much slower paced lifestyle; eating slow foods (what is available in the market fresh today); wearing clothes made from 100% Pure Linen Flax fabrics and taking life in stride not worrying so much about tomorrow as it will come. There is also a role for Healthy Management Styles that consider people as well as profits.

The Carbon Footprint movement is wonderful but many people don't fully understand how it relates to them -- in TODAYš world.

This is a shame as I believe the efforts to reduce greenhouse gasses is most important. We need to have a contribution from everyone young and old in order to make a serious difference and improvement.

So through our series of BLOGS, we plan to highlight various aspects of the Healthy Lifestyle issue and look for ways to point out how it effects the Carbon Footprint issue..

In summary, we believe strongly that people need to live with what they have around them and not stretch out for things that come from afar and are made with lots of chemicals, perservative and sweatshop labor.

This why we have opened our Healthy Linen products business and are making tablecloths, napkins, clothes, towels and bed sheets from 100% natural Linen Flax materials.

Linen Flax is grown naturally and Linen Flax products are washed in cold water with a minimum of soap and dried in open air. Linen products also are fully compatable with your skin and will asssit in your body being more healthy.

We are also encourage everyone to shop at their local fresh food, fruit and vegatable markets and prepare foods responsibility with proper spices, oils and sauces. In addition, walk and exercise more. Park the car and ride a bicycle, hike in the parks and hills around your home and consider walking at least partly to/from work.

A Healthy Lifestyle is just that.... living your life in a Healthy fashion - in total - all aspects.

Reduce the chemicals that you utilize and reduce the use of soaps, gasoline and other products made from or with oil based energy.

Consider it please, it might make a huge difference in your happiness and wellness.

Happy to answer any questions.

Best regards, Mike Johnson

Made from the Flax plant, linen thread is extremely strong and durable. It will last for years.

The Flax plant require very little use of chemicals and is easily converted to fabric.

Linen is NOT cotton as many advertisements may imply.

Linen products are easily washed and cared for in cold water and minimal use of soaps. Linen is easily air dried on racks and may be ironed using a basic hot iron.

Linen is cool in the summer and quite warm in the winter and is a good insulator of heat. Linen is close to being static neutral in the generation of static electricity, so fewer anoying sparks.

Linen towels absorb water much faster than their cotton counterparts and do not shed lint.

Wipe a drinking glass or your windows with a linen cloth and it will be streak and lint free quickly.

Why is a Carbon Footprint important ?

There is strong evidence that our world is being adversely affected by excessive carbon emissions.

Take a look at this beginners' guide for more information.
